Unified Development Code (UDC) Review
Addison is in the process of a comprehensive review of the Town’s development regulations. Many of the Town’s rules for development were crafted in the 1980s and may not be keeping up with current development trends, shifting demographics, and evolving consumer preferences or current and future community needs. To accomplish this review, the Town is working with consulting firm, Clarion Associates. Clarion has completed a full consolidated draft of the new Unified Development Code (UDC), and staff is reviewing and preparing it for adoption in early 2025.
