Neighborhood Vitality Grant

The City Council allocated Neighborhood Vitality Grant (NVG) funds for the Town of Addison citizens to improve the residential screening wall infrastructure within their neighborhoods. Projects must provide a public benefit which promotes stronger, safer, and healthier communities. The checklist and application provide eligibility requirements, funding match contribution, overview of the application process, and other guidelines regarding the grant. 

 

Applications are accepted once a year on August 1 ending on August 31.

This application is required for participation in the Neighborhood Vitality Program.

A valid copy of the certificate of insurance and state-issued identification must accompany the application for processing. Failure to submit the required documentation may result in a delay/denial of program participation.

Registration to participate in the Neighborhood Vitality Program as a contractor is valid for one year from the application submission date.

Please note: General Contractor and Trade registrations must be completed online via the CSS Portal prior to using this form.

Neighborhood Vitality Application - Required Documents and Application Window

 

Applications are accepted once a year on August 1 ending on August 31.

The necessary submittal requirements for participation are:

  • Detailed description of the project
  • Letter of Agreement from adjacent neighbors (if no neighborhood group/HOA is present)
  • Detailed project budget
  • Plan of action for ongoing maintenance and sustainability of the project
  • Photographs, maps and drawings of the site to be improved
  • Licensed contractor that is registered with the Town of Addison
  • Proof of ownership (Court documentation and or Dallas Central Appraisal District information)
