New Development Information
The development services division offers regulatory compliance reviews and approval for many project and permit types. The planning and building inspection teams' help ensure Addison remains a vibrant community with quality places to live, work, and enjoy. As new commercial development applications move through the review process, each project or permit will generally fall into one of four categories:
- Pending Final Action - this item requires a public hearing that has not been held yet, and is not approved for construction.
- Approved - this item has been approved for construction by Town staff, the Planning and Zoning Commission, or City Council.
- Under Construction - this item has not completed construction.
- Operational - this place has a certificate of occupancy that has been issued by the Building Official and is legally operating in Addison.
The new development map features new projects that substantially impact the greater Addison community. Use the interactive map to stay updated on new projects that are being reviewed by staff, prepared for public hearings, inspected during construction, or issued certificates of occupancy.
