Forms and Applications

All applications are to be submitted electronically. Most application types can be submitted via the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal.

How to apply digitally:

1. Create an account on the CSS Portal. After registering you will be able to submit for most permits through this portal. Additional instructions on creating an account.
2. If you are unable to utilize the CSS Portal, please complete the application digitally and email it, along with all required plans, to permits@addisontx.gov.
   • If your files are too large to share by email (up to 1GB), please upload files to: https://send.firefox.com (do not use Internet Explorer) and share the generated link in your email.

Note: When the recipient downloads the file, the files will be deleted.

Credit Card payments will be accepted through the online CSS Portal. Once an account is created, you can log into your CSS Portal and select Pay Invoice. If you apply for the permit online, you will see your outstanding invoice. If you applied by email, an invoice number will be provided for you. You will be able to login and search by invoice number.

Signs

Create an account on the CSS Portal. After the registration is completed, you will have the ability to apply for a sign permit through the same CSS Portal.

Contractor registrations are required to be completed prior to submitting an application for a sign. Failure to do so may result in delay of application processing/issuance.
